Clean Boater Program

Thank you for expressing an interest in keeping our waterways clean for future generations. At this time the Clean Boater Program - The Best Environmental Boater program in the world, is being improved and revised. We do hope you will visit again to learn about the new and improved features of the program. We will once again be accepting membership registrations at that time

What is it?

Ontario Marine Operators Association The Ontario Marine Operators Association (OMOA) along with over twenty marine industry professionals and Ontario's boaters' and anglers' associations formed the Clean Marine Partnership to develop a voluntary program of "Environmental Best Practices" for the marine industry that is recognized as the leader in North America. OMOA member marinas have been enrolling in the Clean Marine Program to ensure that their marinas are following these environmentally sound practices and protecting our waterways for all to enjoy.

The Clean Boater Program is a new environmental initiative aimed to educate the boating public in "Environmental Best Management Practices".  The Clean Baoter Program will help ensure the future generations will have clean water to enjoy the fabulous experience of boating - as we do today!

The Clean Boater Program has been made possible from the generous support of Marine Expert - a division of ELCO Insurance Group Inc. and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment.

Marine Expert and the Ontario Marine Operators Assocaiton (OMOA) have joined forces to create a comprehensive environmental program for boaters.  Boaters who join the Clean Boater Program will be eligible to receive a 10% discount ontheir insurance premiums while protecting Canada's waterways.  This Clean Boater Group Insurance Program is distributred exclusively by ELCO Insurance Group Inc.

As part of the Clean Marine Program, the Clean Boater program encourages boaters to be more environmentally responsible. The Clean Boater Program will continue to ensure that we have clean waterways for future generations to enjoy.
